Refund and Cancellation Policy

At The VOM, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality of Manipuri handlooms and traditional foods. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

1. Cancellation Policy

  • Standard Cancellation: You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it or before it has been dispatched, whichever is earlier.
  • How to Cancel: To request a cancellation, please use the "Cancel" button in the app under "My Orders" or email us at [Insert Email] with your Order ID.
  • Unilateral Cancellation: The VOM reserves the right to cancel orders in case of stock unavailability or delivery restrictions. In such cases, a full refund will be processed immediately.

2. Return & Exchange Policy

Our policy lasts 7 days from the date of delivery. If 7 days have passed since your delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

  • Handlooms & Textiles: Returns or exchanges are accepted only if the product is damaged, defective, or significantly different from what was ordered. The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with all tags intact.
  • Traditional Dry Foods: Due to the perishable and hygienic nature of food items, they are non-returnable. However, if the food reaches you in a damaged or spoiled condition, please report it within 24 hours of delivery with supporting photographs for a replacement or refund.

3. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Online Payments: For orders paid via UPI, Credit/Debit Cards, or Net Banking, the refund will be credited to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunds for COD orders are processed via Bank Transfer (NEFT) or UPI.
  •      You will be required to provide your bank account details or UPI ID through our secure support channel.
  •      Refunds will be initiated within 48 hours of return verification and may take 3 to 5 business days to reflect in your account.

4. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • If the return is due to a defect or our error (wrong item), The VOM will bear the return shipping costs.
  • For all other returns (if approved), the customer will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Food items (except if damaged on arrival).
  • Gift cards.
  • Items purchased during "Final Sale" or "Clearance" events.
  • Any item not in its original condition or damaged for reasons not due to our error.
