Welcome to The VOM. These
Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of The VOM’s
Mobile Application and Services. By accessing this app, we assume you accept
these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use The VOM if you do not agree
to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.
1.
Business Model
The VOM is an e-commerce platform
based in Manipur. We serve as a curated marketplace that collects authentic
handloom, textiles, and traditional dry foods from local producers and sells
them to customers across India.
2.
User Eligibility
By using this app, you represent
that you are at least 18 years of age and are legally capable of entering into
a binding contract.
3.
Account Security
To place an order, you may be
required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the
confidentiality of your account details and for all activities that occur under
your account.
4. Pricing and Payments
· All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes (GST) unless stated otherwise.
· We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
· Payment Options: We offer multiple payment methods for your convenience:
o Online Payments: Secure payments via Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, and UPI through our integrated payment gateways.
o Cash on Delivery (COD): We provide a COD option for most pin codes across India. By selecting COD, you agree to pay the full invoice amount in cash or via the delivery partner's QR code at the time of delivery.
· COD Restrictions: The VOM reserves the right to disable the COD option for certain high-value orders, specific regions, or users with a history of frequent order refusals.
5. Products and Accuracy
· Handlooms: As these are handcrafted items, slight variations in color, texture, and weave are natural and are not considered defects.
· Food Items: Images of food products are for representational purposes. We ensure that all dry foods are sourced fresh from producers.
· We attempt to be as accurate as possible, but we do not warrant that product descriptions are error-free.
6. Shipping and Delivery
· Pan-India Coverage: We offer shipping services to most pin codes across India.
· Delivery Timeline: Once an order is confirmed, we aim to deliver the products within 4 to 7 business days. Please note that "business days" exclude Sundays and public holidays.
· Tracking: Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking ID via email or SMS to monitor the status of their shipment.
· Delays: While we strive to meet our 4–7 day timeline, The VOM is not liable for unexpected delays caused by courier partner issues, extreme weather, or other force majeure events.
· Address Accuracy: Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping addresses. Any redelivery costs arising from an incorrect address will be borne by the customer.
7. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, The VOM and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on the app. All intellectual property rights are reserved.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall The VOM, nor any of its officers or employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this app. The VOM shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of the use of our products.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Imphal, Manipur.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these terms at any time. By using this app, you are expected to review these terms on a regular basis.
